Four Ascension Living skilled nursing communities have been named to Newsweek’s America’s Best Nursing Homes 2026 list. The recognized facilities are Ascension Living Nazarethville Place in Des Plaines, Illinois; Ascension Living Our Lady of Peace in Lewiston, New York; Ascension Living Providence Village in Waco, Texas; and Ascension Living Resurrection Village Life Center in Chicago, Illinois.
Newsweek’s annual ranking highlights top nursing homes across the United States. The evaluation is based on four main criteria: performance indicators such as staffing levels and health inspections, reputation scores from medical professionals, accreditations from organizations like TJC and CARF, and resident satisfaction as measured by Google ratings.
“As nice as it is to be recognized for the way we live Ascension’s Mission, the most important part of making the list is it helps people find the exact type of care they need at the quality they deserve,” said Ascension Living CEO Erin Shadbolt.
