Denise enjoyed a fulfilling career as a comptroller and office manager for auto dealerships in Chicago and the Northern Suburbs, making a significant impact in her professional sphere. A graduate of Eastridge High School in Kankakee in 1974, she had a passion for tennis, winning numerous tournaments. She also found joy in riding her Harley, driving her Corvette, and cruising in her red Mustang convertible. An avid traveler, Denise loved exploring new places and indulging in shopping sprees.
Recognized for her dedication to her work and cherished by many, Denise was known as a wonderful sister who made lasting connections in both her personal and professional life.
Denise leaves behind her sister, Dawn M. Tutt (Merikay Warpet) of Kankakee; five nephews; and several great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Jeffrey and Gregory.
A memorial visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the 3:00 p.m. memorial service on Sunday, June 22, 2025, at Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home in Bourbonnais. Inurnment is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 23, 2025, at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Kankakee.
