Lolita Broski, age 89, of Bourbonnais, passed away on Friday, May 30, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family. Born on November 1, 1935, in Bourbonnais, Lolita married Carl E. Broski on September 7, 1957, at Immaculate Conception Church in Chicago. Carl preceded her in death in January 2002.

Throughout her life, Lolita was a devoted housewife who generously dedicated her time to raising her children. She found great joy in celebrating holidays, particularly Christmas. A loyal parishioner of Maternity BVM Catholic Church in Bourbonnais for over twenty-five years, Lolita's faith was an integral part of her life.

Remembering her with love are her children: Robin (Ronald) Urbanowski of Glenwood, IL, Laura Broski of Wheaton, IL, Brian (Sandra) Broski of Manteno, IL, and Wayne (Susan) Broski of Palatine, IL. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Lolita is preceded in death by her husband, Carl, her parents, in-laws, nine siblings, a grandson, and a great-grandson.

Visitation for Lolita will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 6, 2025, at Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home in Bourbonnais. A funeral Mass will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at Maternity BVM Catholic Church. Following the Mass, cremation rites will be accorded, with private inurnment to be held at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society to honor Lolita's memory.
