The Village of Bourbonnais has announced the return of its sixth annual Very Merry Coloring Contest, a free event open to all residents. The contest is sponsored by Aqua Illinois and Fieldstone Credit Union.
Participants can download the holiday-themed coloring page from the village website or pick up a printed copy at the Administration Office on Main Street NW during business hours. The contest is divided into four categories: ages 6 and under, ages 7 to 10, all ages/family, and special needs.
All entries must be submitted by Monday, December 15, at 4:30 p.m. Completed coloring pages can be mailed or delivered to the Village of Bourbonnais Coloring Contest at the Administration Office.
“There are many ways to spread holiday cheer in Bourbonnais,” said Mayor Jeff Keast. “The annual coloring contest and lighting contest have grown into colorful community traditions. Thanks to the generosity of Aqua Illinois and Fieldstone Credit Union, we’re able to award prizes to the winners. I can’t wait to see all the creative entries.”
Prizes will be given to the top three entries in each category: $100 Visa gift card for first place, $50 for second place, and $25 for third place. Winners will be notified directly.
