Dorothy A. Carley, 88, of Bourbonnais, peacefully joined her Heavenly Home on November 11, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on June 3, 1937, in Watseka, Dorothy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and beloved member of the community.

Dorothy's life was characterized by her unwavering faith, boundless love for her family, and passion for serving others. From her career at Westwood OB-GYN to supporting her husband's coaching endeavors at Bradley-Bourbonnais Community High School, Dorothy's dedication to her family and community was unwavering.

As an active church member, Dorothy's involvement in church activities and ministries touched many lives. She shared her love for the Lord through teaching and serving, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew her. Her love of life extended to traveling, taking many cruises, winter trips, and excursions to Branson with loved ones.

Survived by her husband of 67 years, Richard "Dick" Carley, children, siblings, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, Dorothy's memory will be cherished by many. A memorial visitation and service will be held at American Lutheran Church in Bourbonnais, with Reverend Patrick Jenkins officiating the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lutheran Capital Campaign, Alzheimer’s Association, or Uplifted Care in memory of Dorothy A. Carley. Dorothy will be remembered for her deep faith, unwavering love for her family, and her infectious love for life.
