Alice Elizabeth Barnett, a Bourbonnais resident, died at the age of 91 on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at The Grove Assisted Living. She was born on July 25, 1934, in Vienna, IL to Harry T. and Delia Bridges. Visitation and a funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home in Bourbonnais, with interment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Uplifted Care are appreciated. Alice dedicated over 30 years of her life working at the state hospital and Manteno Veterans Home. She married Bill Ray Barnett in 1954, and together, they raised two sons and celebrated over 71 years of marriage before his passing. Alice is survived by her sons, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother, and extended family. She was preceded in death by her husband, infant sibling, sister, and other relatives. Grateful to The Grove Assisted Living and Uplifted Care, the family asks for memorial gifts for the support they provided.
