Bradley Resident Gertrude N. Auberry Dies at 87

Gertrude N. “Gert” Auberry, a Bradley resident, passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at the age of 87. Gertrude, born on November 19, 1937, in Kankakee, was a retired Sears Catalog Department employee and a graduate of St. Patrick High School. She enjoyed bowling and knitting and was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Gertrude is survived by her daughter, three sons, sisters, brothers, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, parents, daughter, sister, and brothers. Visitation will be on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home, with a funeral Mass on Friday, October 31, 2025, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, followed by entombment at Mt. Calvary Mausoleum. Memorials can be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bradley.
