Lucille "Granny" Howard, age 99, of Manteno, passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at LaBella of Clifton. Born on April 9, 1926, in Green Garden Township to William and Annita Harms, she married Francis Howard in 1945 and worked as a jeweler at Volkman's in Kankakee for many years.

Known for wearing many hats in life including wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, farmer, jeweler, and babysitter, Lucille was always eager to help others. She was of the Catholic faith and attended services when possible. Survived by her son Patrick and Mary Howard, sister Shirley Hall, grandsons Jacob and Chrissie Howard, Joshua Howard, great-grandson Jared, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her husband, four brothers, one sister, and a granddaughter, a private family inurnment will be held at All Saints Cemetery in Bourbonnais. Cremation rites have been accorded.
