Mary Colleen Kilbride, aged 96, of Pontiac, formerly of Bourbonnais, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2025, at OSF St. James Hospital. She was born on May 28, 1928, in Streator, IL, to Emmett and Eileen Coughlin. Colleen was dedicated to her role as the manager of Kankakee County Mutual Fire Insurance Company and her work at Kankakee Community College and the Kankakee Clinic of the VA Hospital in Dwight, IL. A devout parishioner, she was actively involved in St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. John Paul II, and St. Teresa’s Catholic Church. Colleen's engagement extended to various organizations and associations, including Provena St. Mary’s Auxiliary and the Servants of the Holy Heart of Mary.
Survived by her children, Judith Donze, Former Supreme Court Justice Thomas Kilbride, Joseph Kilbride, Mary Pat Scoltock, siblings, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchild, and many relatives. Predeceased by her husband, parents, sisters, and brothers-in-law. Visitation on January 24, 2025, at Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home and a funeral Mass on January 25, 2025, at St. John Paul II. Burial at All Saints Cemetery, Bourbonnais. Memorials may be made to the Servants of the Holy Heart of Mary or Evenglow Senior Living, Pontiac, IL.
