On Thursday, August 29, Tyshon King, a former standout Bishop McNamara Catholic High School athlete, saw action in the Youngstown State Penguins’ 24-to-17 loss to the Villanova Wildcats.

King is a 5’11’ 220-pound senior running back from Kankakee.

He carried the ball 12 times for 24 yards, scoring one touchdown.

Youngstown State’s football team is a NCAA’s Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) team that plays in the Missouri Valley Football Conference.

Up next for King: the Penguins play at home on Saturday, September 7 at 2 p.m.
