Tyshon King runs for 59 yards on 12 carries in Youngstown State’s loss to Illinois State

On Saturday, November 2, Tyshon King, a former standout Bishop McNamara Catholic High School athlete, saw action in the Youngstown State Penguins’ 23-to-16 loss to the Illinois State Redbirds.

King is a 5′11″ 220-pound senior running back from Kankakee.

He carried the ball 12 times for 59 yards, scoring one touchdown.

Youngstown State’s football team is a NCAA Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) team that plays in the Missouri Valley Football Conference.

Up next for King: the Penguins play the Salukis at Southern Illinois on Saturday, November 9 at 12 p.m.
