Enrollment Analysis: white students comprised 61.4% of Bourbonnais Upper Grade Center’s student body in 2022-23 school year

There were 305 white students enrolled in Bourbonnais Upper Grade Center in the 2022-23 school year, 9.0% less than the previous year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education report.

Data showed that the school welcomed 497 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, white students comprised 61.4% of the student body to be the most represented ethnicity in the school.

The school is located in Bourbonnais School District 53 with a central office in Bourbonnais.

Among the five schools in Bourbonnais School District 53, Liberty Intermediate School recorded the highest enrollment of white students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of 718 students.

Illinois registered one of the largest enrollment drops during the pandemic. Since 2020, the Prarie State lost nearly 118,000 students, further intensifying a decline trend established since 2013.
